Normally when I know I’m getting a cold I can take some extra Vitamin C and it retreats. So far I’ve done that for the past week, and it’s still coming. Maybe, technically, it’s actually here. I don’t quite have a runny nose, and I don’t quite have a sneeze or a cough, but I almost do. I have a bit of congestion, almost.
It’s an Almost Cold.
Worse than the actual kind, because I don’t feel like treating Almost Symptoms.
Laundry day today, and my daughter has a dance that should be winding up in the next hour, and my son has an Actual Cold, so he’s staying at home and resting.
(As if the kids ever do anything else on the weekends usually.)
“Resting.”
*sigh*
I’m fine. I’m looking forward to going home and crawling into bed and hopefully waking in the morning feeling better. Top notch.
Not sick.
For not being sick, I’m going on and on quite a bit about it.
Moving on!
NaNoWriMo is right around the corner! Plotober is just a couple weeks away, and I need to get my Municipal Liaison butt in gear. There’s an email to go out so people know about Plotober, and to get people back to the site. There are Questions of the Day to put together (I need better questions this time – I tend to fall back to the same set every time). The Goody Packets still need a bit more putting together, and I need to finalize the handout. I think I may just have a couple dates to add to the calendar, and maybe a couple pages to add.
When in doubt, add more pages for notes. ;)
Well, I’m sure my laundry is close to being done by now. Time to pack up and get the heck out of Dodge.
